The system is a WebMIS based information system combined with WebGIS and supported by a number of technologies such as J2EE, JSP, ArcIMS, JDBC and SQL Server. The system collects real time data from shrimp farms in various places and provides farmers with useful information on shrimp production such as seedlings, culture model, diseases, feedings, daily cares, production cost, product sales, etc. It is also helpful for the administrators to understand timely the overall situation of the shrimp industry in the country so as to make the right decisions for the proper development of the country's shrimp industry.
